Silver Alarm Clock
What kind of cellphone should I purchase?
I’m signed up with AT&T service. I live out in the country so getting good reception can be tricky. I own a Samsung SGH A727, but I never get service with it; it won’t send/receive calls or texts. I got so frustrated with it that I switched my SIM card to an old LG-Cingular phone (I’m not sure of the model – it’s small, silver, has an external antenna, and has a mirror on the front). Much to my surprise, it works perfectly almost everywhere I go.
Is Samsung a bad brand? Is LG a particularly good one? Is it the external antenna on the LG phone that makes it work so much better? What kind of new phone should I get? I need to be able to text with T9, make calls, use tools like the alarm clock, and have an address book, but fancier features don’t mean too much to me.
Also, is there anyway that I can improve the reception on my Samsung SGH A727? I love the actual phone, but it’s too inconvenient to lack service at my home.
I live out in the country too and have always had terrible cell phone reception until i bought the iPhone. I always have at least 3 bars everywhere in my house! I was very hesitant about buying the iPhone at first, but I couldnt imagine my life without it, it is the best phone ever made!
