Is it better to wake up to natural light or an alarm clock?

Ok, for as long as i can remember, i have slept with my curtains closed, and have woken up (in almost complete darkness) every morning to my alarm clock. It takes me around 3 or 4 ’snoozes’ to wake up as well.

I find natural light wakes me up better. I have a sunroom, and if I open the doors i get excellent light in my room and it usually wakes me up before my alarm goes off but i’m not angry.

With my doors and curtains closed though, I have to hit snooze 7 times and i usually sleep through my alarm.
